Exclusions
Exclusion rules keep matching conversations stored but out of every list, count, rate, health number, experiment and judging.
#Rules
A rule matches a user_id that equals or starts with a value, or a metadata key that equals a value: your own test users, a load test or an internal channel. Owners and admins set them in Settings > Data and privacy; they apply at once to every read, because every read goes through the same visibility check.
#Connection checks
A conversation sent with kind check (the Connect panel's test conversation; duet.conversation.kind over OpenTelemetry) is a connection check. The conversation list and the conversation itself show it, labeled as a check; it is never judged and counts in no stat, signal, health number, issue, user or experiment. Real conversations leave kind out or send conversation.
